Steven Yang: Steven Yang obtained his Master of Science in Mathematics from University of Connecticut in 2012. He started his career as an actuary working at MetLife Asset Liability Management department, focusing on asset management and valuation. He was responsible for asset value projection, quantitative modeling, asset and liability portfolio management for MetLife general account $600 billion assets, including bonds, derivatives, and mortgage-backed securities (MBS). In 2016, Steven joined New York Life, the largest mutual insurance company in US, worked as corporate vice president on insurance products development, pricing and valuation, ALM, and corporate finance for over four years. Steven is a Fellow of Society of Actuary (FSA) focusing on quantitative finance.
Steven had various experiences in quantitative modeling, asset valuation, and corporate finance management and he is specialized in insurance sector.
